Linganore Meadows Phase I approved by county planners
Frederick County Planning Commission granted Phase I approval for Linganore Meadows a 250 acre PUD project with 140 acres planned for housing. The two to one vote followed nearly three hours of discussion with Bartonsville residents raising concerns on overcrowding, water and sewer demands, and preservation of woodlands. The vote set a living unit intensity of 3.5 and left Phase II to adjust density roads and utilities, with final commitments to come from County Commissioners.
