Former YMCA Director Dies in Martinsburg Hospital
Harry W. Zeigler 75 of Hagerstown former Frederick YMCA physical director died at Newton D. Baker Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg West Virginia. He had lived in Hagerstown 35 years and served as a Maryland House of Delegates member from Washington County. Survived by wife Eda James Zeigler three children and a sister funeral arrangements to be announced.

Plane Crash Injures Two Men Near Barnesville
A single engine plane carrying W. W. Thompson and Donald P. Chaplow crashed near Barnesville about 10:35 p.m. The aircraft hit a hedge row along Route 109 and was demolished. Thompson, the pilot, was treated and released. Chaplow was admitted with very satisfactory condition reported.
