A sweeping verdict favored the U S government against a former Chicago postmaster in a high profile case. The decision signals a strong stance in post office related prosecutions and reverberates through local political circles.
Dispatches from Mount Carroll Beck ford Marshall Tuscola Streator and other western Iowa southern Wisconsin and northern Indiana points indicate a general storm Wednesday evening.
