Partnerships signed between four arts groups and FCPS
Four performing arts groups recently signed partnership agreements with Frederick County Public Schools to give students access to quality live performances in various arts forms. The deals include student internships and service learning opportunities with each organization, featuring leaders Rog er Nicodemus Jade Wu Tad Jones and Jack Dale along with Tony DeRosa.

Hecht Elected Second VP of Maryland Women Legislators
Sue Hecht D Frederick Washington was elected second vice president of the Maryland General Assembly Women Legislators Caucus. She has chaired the 1995 Legislative Committee and remains active on it. In 1997 she presented domestic violence bills from the Family Violence Task Force for the Attorney General and House Speaker Casper Taylor, with three major bills expanding protective orders passing.
