City Stands Firm on Double Water Rates in County
Frederick Mayor Jim Grimes and the aldermen insist on charging Frederick County double the city water rate. At a workshop officials said only city residents should pay the higher price, citing policy and administration costs. The debate involves a planned water line loop from Dear bought development to Waterside and Wormans Mill with a disputed cost and an expected May 14 meeting at Winchester Hall.
