Fedders Antitrust Suit With Chrysler Dismissed
Chrysler Corporation’s roughly 400 million antitrust suit against Fedders Corporation, tied to assets from Chrysler Airtemp unit, was dismissed by the U S District Court in Michigan after rulings reducing claims and denying reconsideration. Chrysler had filed the action on November 14 1977 seeking federal antitrust relief. The February 1976 asset acquisition and subsequent legal moves formed the basis, with the court ultimately dismissing the remaining claims.
