City pairs offers to light Frederick streets explained
Frederick residents hear a detailed breakdown of offers from the local lighting firm. Proposals include installing a costly plan by Mr. Reeder at about 25 000 dollars yet the company would supply current for annual fees or kilowatt based rates, and even install a city motor to run existing generators. The plan promises substantial annual savings and potential modern lamp upgrades without city debt, with future options for more lamps and reduced commercial rates after PSC approval. The document is dated May 9 1916 from the Hagerstown Frederick Railway Company.
