A. Pr. McMillan, head clerk at the Pullman suburb of Chicago, visiting Miss Libbie Morgan's home, was shot by Mrs. Atwood and her husband after they entered unannounced. The husband fired, wounding McMillan. Atwood was arrested. Motive unclear though Atwood hints McMillan insulted Miss Morgan.
