Edgard Priestand Two Nuns Slain in Church Robbery

In Edgard Louisiana three church workers including Father J Aline Clement 47 Sister Mary Patrick Harrington 43 and Leah Lejeune 58 were killed during a robbery at St John the Baptist Church rectory. Two robbers escaped with 600 dollars after beating the sexton Leopold St Pierre who suffered head wounds.

Energy bill faces final House action on taxes and quotas
