Citizens Nursing Home Auxiliary holds annual meeting in April
The Citizens Nursing Home Auxiliary annual meeting and luncheon were held on April 1 at the home with Gladys Showers presiding. Guests included Frederick County Commissioner David Gray and Candace Gobel. The group noted about 9,353 hours donated in 1997 and over 347,165 hours since inception, funding medical equipment and a new bingo machine for residents. An honorary membership went to Ruth Roberson. A May 18 card party at the home will benefit the auxiliary.
