Maryland MDE wary of Mount Airy Shell gas station plan
The Maryland Department of the Environment expressed concerns over potential groundwater contamination from a proposed Shell station near Parr's Spring and the Patapsco River headwaters on Four County Farm. Residents, including Martha Ehlman, push for safer siting as the Frederick County Planning Commission previously denied the site plan 6-1.
