Frederick High wins regional math meet at FCC
Frederick High placed first in the 1991 regional math competition held at Frederick Community College. Catoctin High tied for second with Thomas S. Wootten High, Middletown High took third, and Gov. Thomas Johnson, Walkersville, and Brunswick also scored. Ed Groth of Frederick High won top honors with a plaque.

Frederick County Health Occupations Students of America members from the Frederick County Career and Technology Center attended the state conference in Allegany County. Award recipients include Barbie Lewis first in medical spelling, Rhonda Crouse first in job interview and second in medical spelling and nursing assistant, Kim Reese first in medical assistance, and Kim Smith second in extemporaneous health display. They will represent their organization at the national conference in Washington, D.C.
