Thirty two players took part in last week's regular bridge game. North-south winners were Colyn Phillips and Mrs Donald Crawford, with Manuel Weinberg and Charles Crum in second and Mrs Morris Guggenheim and Charles Price in third. East-west top pair was Sheryl Dixon and Mrs Donald Falconer, followed by Adele McGovern with David Toelkes and Sue Hilton with Rodney Fox in third. Overall leaders were Elsie Jones and Charlotte Rupert first, Denise Clow and Mrs Gerald Yonetz second, and Mrs Kenneth Palmer with Mrs Charles Snyder third. Members of the GFWC Junior Woman's Club of Frederick attended the Maryland Federation of Women's Clubs annual convention at Hunt Valley Inn in Cockeysville April 21 23. Sherry Maurhoff and Bette Brust received top junior and leadership awards while club members earned craft and project accolades across legislation membership public relations education and conservation with awards for several Frederick Juniors.
