Mount Airy pupils visit the farm without leaving school
About 600 students at Mount Airy Elementary participated in Farm Day organized by the Carroll County Farm Bureau Women's Committee. Officials including Olin Adams and county commissioners attended the parade and were presented with copies of the Chicken and Eggs activity book. The event, held at Mount Airy as the county's second Farm Day site, aimed to expose children to farm animals and equipment.
