Policy to address BoE meeting explained
After conflicts between the Frederick County Board of Education and the Frederick County Teachers Association the BoE president outlined the agenda protocol requiring written requests to be filed a week in advance for public comment. The procedure aims to filter issues to the superintendent level and allows board consideration if unresolved. The article notes lax adherence in practice and records statements from FCTA president Beverly Stonestreet pledging to follow procedures, with Walkersville Primary staff backing her efforts.
