Frederick County to restore three historic covered bridges
Frederick County plans a 70 000 dollar summer facelift for Loy's Station Roddy Road and Utica bridges. Bids will be sought this month with work starting in July. The Loy's Station Bridge is the most vandalism damaged, while Utica needs minor repairs and Roddy Road requires wing walls and truss work. The project is funded by the county 40 000 and a 30 000 Maryland Historical Trust grant.
