Peace Rights Amassed by Women in International Meeting
About 300 women described as citizens of the “fire world” gathered in Washington for the seventh session of the International Federation of Women to discuss peace and gender issues. Delegates from 38 nations attended as Mrs. Philip North Moore opened the session, with the Marchioness of Aberdeen presiding. Plans included addressing race, discrimination, and women’s economic and political equality, urging all nations to consider revisions to governance and international policy.
