Woman killed in U S 40 auto crash near Red Horse Inn
A Washington County woman Sandra L. Roelkey 21 of Brownsville died after being struck on the canbound lane of U S 40 West in front of Red Horse Motor Inn. She died about midnight at Frederick Memorial Hospital from head injuries. Police say her car was disabled on U S 4 W at Baughman Lane when she left it to return to the vehicle as another driver, Michael J. Clem 27 of Frederick, in the eastbound lane saw the scene.
