Frederick Shriner group shines in parade service
The Keystone Kopps Shrine Unit of Frederick, formed as a Bicentennial project in 1976, has grown to 28 members riding Yemaha Chappy motorcycles and displaying a 4 foot enclosed track. They support crippled children and burns families while entertaining crowds in district parades, including recent St Patrick’s Day in Washington DC and an upcoming Apple Blossom parade in Winchester Virginia. The group operates with Ali Ghan Shrine Temple of Cumberland and seeks new Shriner members through Frederick area Masons and the Ali Ghan Temple membership committee.
