Zonta Club hears about work at Rock Creek Center
More than 40 members of the Zonta Club of Frederick heard Doris Remsberg, Rock Creek School principal, describe the Ayachinn program and the center’s three parts the Diagnostic Center the Scott Key Development Center and Rock Creek School. She outlined student activities water therapy shop cooking music sports and graduation and noted alumni employed locally. The talk emphasized inclusive education under recent federal rules and the center’s cooperation with Waverley Elementary. The next meeting is May 8 at Bettys Restaurant with May 22 set for officer installation and new member induction.
