Senators push DWI per se bill to floor vote

The Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee advanced SB256 to the Senate floor on a unanimous voice vote. Trucker's death prompts $6 million negligence suit

A $6 million lawsuit filed in Frederick County Circuit Court stems from the 1994 death of truck driver Edward W. Martin. The 51 year old, of Sykesville, was killed Feb 25 when a forklift backed over him while loading aluminum at Eastalia.
