County announces two week bulk trash pickups by district
Frederick County outlines its annual spring bulk trash collections starting April 2 for districts 1 3 and 6 next week with Wednesday Thursday and Friday maps published. Districts 2 4 and 5 maps follow next week. Crews will remove bulky items like refrigerators stoves and furniture. Supervisor William Routzahn assisted by Bill Hale asks residents to place items at road edge by 7 a.m. on pickup day and ensure completion by 3 30 p.m. with a possible return visit next day.

The described boundary runs north from Md 77 to the Washington County line and west to the Black Rock Road and Middle Point Road area. It covers Md 26 east to Daysville Road, then north to Cabbage Run Road and Bennie Duncan Road east to Md 550, continuing along Md 550 north but excluding it, to Hoffman Seachrist Road, south to Daysville Road and Md 194, Md 194 north to Glade Road, west to Links Bridge Road and Old Frederick Road, south to U.S. 15 and U.S. 15 back to Frederick City limits, including Dublin Road north to Gravel Hill Road.
