An 18 year old Gaithersburg man, Michael Albert Hewitt, died from a compressed skull fracture after a Saturday collision on Md 27 one and a half miles north of Mt Airy. His 1962 convertible crossed the road to pass two trucks, spun out, and halted in the path of a 1964 truck driven by Joseph Barger of Brunswick.
