Protest Over New DC Health Regulation By Frederick Co Dairyites

Frederick county directors of the Maryland and Virginia Milk Producers Association travel to Washington for a noon meeting to protest a new District of Columbia Health Department rule. They oppose a requirement placing milk coolers 40 to 50 feet from barns and moving all other buildings 100 feet from the cooler, a costly change for many dairymen possibly needing 500 to 1000 dollars. Directors seek modification to revert to the prior 75-foot building relocation rule or a more affordable standard.
