Five-Block Fire Destroys Crifield Md Business District
Fire of undetermined origin swept through Crifield Maryland center, leveling several buildings including the telephone exchange and Pennsylvania Station. Adjoining theaters and residences were damaged as firemen from six cities fought the blaze for four hours. Communications were cut off until late, but service was restored. no injuries were reported. Estimated losses run into hundreds of thousands, possibly a million. Local AP reporter traveled 30 miles to cover the blaze.

Price Not Guilty in Assault and Battery Case
