City Worker Posts Signs For Tydings
In Baltimore on March w the Tydings for Senator campaign pasted posters on street poles. A Bureau of Sewers truck driver nailed signs to poles, seen by Evening Sun photographer. The signs urged voting for Willard Fouldings for the Democratic senatorial nomination. The Frenne Sun photographed the scene after word from George P Mahones’s headquarters that the end was being used. Abe Handleman allegedly supervised. John Jo Hunt vowed an investigation, calling the act unauthorized and illegal on city and state law. The incident follows prior signs being barred from utility poles by Baltimore Gas and Electric Company due to safety concerns.
