Eisenhower aides cancel civil rights meetings and delay proposals
Washington reports the Eisenhower administration canceled two meetings to explain its civil rights program delaying proposals until after the Easter recess. House members Scott and Kelly criticized the delays while Rep. Scott said he had no detail on items to be recommended. A separate court note: Herman King's trial for possession of a stolen calf was postponed to April 11.
