Mount Airy mayor for a day crafts quiet town tour
The visiting Rockville resident and longtime Mount Airy orthodontist spent a day in office with his 13 year old son. He rode a garbage truck route with a state trooper, toured downtown businesses for parking pleas, visited fire station and library, and reviewed water and sewer work before lunch at Quail Ridge Inn. He questioned ground wells and holding tanks, calling the detail “incredible, amazing, unbelievable.” He hinted at potential future political plans if he moves to Mount Airy.
