Physicists claim high temp superconductivity at minus 27
Wayne State University physicists report evidence of superconductivity at minus 27 degrees Fabrembent using yttrium compounds. They applied alternating current to a material and observed direct current output, noting a single conductive channel at 27 degrees below zero while the rest of the sample remained non superconductive. The finding follows recent global results and seeks room temperature superconductivity, which would enable inexpensive, cooled devices.
