Baltimore man held on five thousand nine dollar bond
William Mackless Jr., 31, of Baltimore, was ordered held on 5009 bond after being charged in the shooting of a city jail guard. Mackless was captured days after Walter Helmne, 30, of Glen Burnie, was wounded. He awaits trial in April and Helene is in Mercy Hospital in good condition with a leg wound.
