The Brandon farm near Gettysburg now hosts Ivlan Feaster, the President’s farmer, with Gen. Nevins named as Eisenhower’s farm operations agent. Deed records show Nevins bought the Brandon place July 17, 1954 for $55,000. Adams County records deny a deed transfer on the latest property. Richard A. Brown of Gettysburg represented the buyer, also involved in the initial purchase for the President.

Bonn March 27 Chancellor Adenauer said French ratification of the Paris treaties to rearm West Germany creates a firm basis for unity in Europe and for Germanys entry into the Atlantic Pact. He spoke after an all night French Senate session approved the accord and hailed Germanys return from occupation status as a step toward reunification with Western partners.
