Four Homosexuals Fired By State Dept
The State Department announced it fired four people at the U S consulate in Hongkong after they confessed to being homosexuals. One confessed to taking about 10 000 dollars in bribes on visas for Chinese to come to the United States. The dismissals occurred last December. Vice Consul John Wayne Williams of Carrboro North Carolina was named as the bribe taker. The department said the Williams case is forwarded to the Justice Department for possible prosecution. Deputy Undersecretary Carlisle Humelsine reported the affair to Senate and House Appropriations subcommittees. The other three cases were not named and none were found involved in visa irregularities. The inquiry was led by Julian F Harrington, sent to Hongkong by Humelsine. An earlier probe had failed to find evidence but continued reports prompted the second inquiry.

Which Way Strength For Today by Earl L Douglass
In Acts thirteen Paul preaches to Antioch of Pisidia. Gentiles listen, believe, and glorify God. Some say predestination, but the Greek word for ordained means set in array, implying readiness rather than foreordained salvation. God gives us what we are ready.
