The annual Baltimore Conference of the Methodist Episcopal church convenes at Grace Methodist Episcopal church in Baltimore for about a week. Second Trial Date Set for Hall Case on April 10
April 10 is set for the retrial of James HB Hall the negro preacher charged with sending threatening letters to Judge Glenn H Worthington and Holmes J Baker. The first trial ended with a hung jury after a long session. Witnesses include handwriting experts from Baltimore and Washington plus defense witnesses. Judge Sammond Urner and Judge Peter will preside. Hall remains jailed.
