Constable Ashbaugh of Emmettsburg reported to the States Attorney the discovery of a child’s body on premises belonging to two prominent residents. County Surveyor Wade Hiddellary and former County Surveyor R. A. Brager completed a survey of the Manor farm, recently bought from the McMurray estate by Dr. Joseph D. Baker, yesterday afternoon. The Frederick Concert Band dissolved its organization and Cha s Werthheimer will handle the band’s finances until a public sale occurs in a few days.

Funeral service for Mr. George Herman held at Moud Ok Vek cemetery

The funeral of Mr. George Herman occurred around two o'clock with interment at Moud Ok Vek cemetery. Rev. Luther Kuhlman presided. Pallbearers were Frederick Heinlein, Frederick Kopp, Geo Yinger, and Adam Boland. F Schroeder & Sons were the undertakers.

Doll and Cramer Wedding at Evangelical Reformed Church

The Evangelical Reformed church hosted the wedding of Charles J. Doll of G. J. Doll & Son to Mamie Lorraine Cramer of the Mutual Insurance Co. Rev. Eschbach and Rev.
