Rogers tied to Shah foundation and conflict statute questions
The text alleges that within months of re signing Rogers joined the shah's Pablayi Foundation as a director and served as attorney of record for the shah's relatives and the Bank of Omran. It notes a conflict statute barred government officers from certain representation within a year of leaving office and claims Rogers may have violated it. It also questions foundation payments totaling over $1 million and whether the foundation acted as a conduit for fees, with no evidence Rogers or his firm registered as foreign agents. Additional notes recount Rogers denying such conflicts and his embassy retention claim regarding the Nixon shah story.
