Lafayette Memorial May Be Moved To New Site
The C Burr Artz Library displays Frederick's Lafayette bronze plaque, hinting at relocating the memorial to honor the French patriot who visited Frederick. The five ton boulder marker, erected near Jug Bridge years ago by the S AR and DAR, may be moved to a spot between the Monocacy bridges to preserve the historic marker.
