County fails to halt arbitration delay over Baltimore courthouse
Baltimore County judge refused to delay the April 20 arbitration between Frederick County and the principal contractor Cam over the $92 million courthouse project. Cam sought a postponement, claiming arbitration scope issues and alleged shod workmanship while Frederick County withheld about $470,000. Speelman argued Cam breached the arbitration pact by going to court. The hearing occurred before Judge James H Langrall Barber. another Baltimore judge had rejected Cam’s motion earlier.
