The mayor prefers a northwest resort site though no decision has been made. Police Chief Kenholtz cites a 15000 cost for protection while maintenance may add another hire. Lease payments around 75000 could fund tax cuts of about 16 percent and water rate reductions, with 2.5 percent gross receipts paid to the town, estimated at 25000 annually.
