Child evangelist Michael Lord preaches from pulpit at age five
In Saginaw Michigan Michael Lord son of Michael and Peggy Lord travels with the Singing Lord Family evangelists. He began preaching at age five after a mix up in a Kentucky paper led people to expect him to preach instead of his father. He claims no formal training yet says he is ordained by Around the World for Christ Missionary Fellowship Outreach. He also prays for healing and recalls healing his grandmother when he was five or six. He plans to continue preaching while remaining a regular kid when not on the road. He dislikes being treated specially and says his goal is to keep preaching until he dies. The family travels year round in a metallic gray Lincoln Continental amid rising gas prices.
