The Sun reports Frank V. Rhodes a lay Baltimore district delegate to the Alexandria conference of the M E church south and Sunday school committee member. Born in Frederick County Maryland in December 1855 he educated in Frederick and Montgomery public schools and Brookeville Academy. He taught at Emerson Institute in Washington and in Montgomery and Baltimore public schools, became vice principal of Baltimore Male Grammar School No. 5 for eight years, earned a law degree at Maryland University and was admitted to the bar in 1890. He studied law at the University of Virginia in 1890 and began practice in Baltimore in 1883. He has long been active in church work and now serves as superintendent of Emmanuel Church School.
