Signs Show Cause Order In Damage Suit
Associate Judge Patrick M. Schnauffer signed an order directing William B. Cosgrave to show cause by March 29 why the declaration in his suit for damages should not be amended to strike the word colored describing defendant Mary D. Biggus. Cosgrave, suing Mary and Charles Biggus, Guy Anders, Sheriff, and William P. Larkin Post No. 112, for injuries suffered at a Manor Woods picnic, says he was deputy sheriff when injured. Several Larkin Post members recently qualified as deputies to maintain order at the South Bentz street home.
