Hi Lo Neighborhood Girl Scouts Celebrate Thinking Day 1983
About 150 Girl Scouts and Brownies from roughly 15 troops in the Penn Laurel Council gathered at Waverley Elementary School on March 12 to observe Thinking Day. It marked the end of Girl Scout Week and the 50th anniversary of Girl Scouting in Frederick, with each troop's booth raising money for the Juliette Lowe World Friendship Fund to aid Scouts and needy children worldwide.
