Prizes Awarded At Center Anniversary Event
An estimated 2,500 people gathered at the Frederick Shopping Center for its first anniversary grand finale drawing. 42 prizes worth about 1,249.35 were awarded, including a television set to Herman A. Hauver, and multiple gift certificates and small prizes drawn by center officials. The event featured Bruce Brachey as MC and Mayor John A. Derr presenting the grand prize.
