Grey proposals in naval treaty compared to Salisbury talks
The speaker notes no difference between Grey and the Salisbury treaty beyond an offensive, defensive, and coercive alliance against other powers. He doubts such a pact would help and observes the proposals include aid for small nations seeking freedom while inviting great empires to unite to coerce resisters of arbitration.

Frank Work multimillionaire railroad man and father of Mrs Burke Roche Hatonyi died at his New York home of pneumonia at age ninety two. He leaves an estate of about 20 million dollars.
