Literacy volunteers trained leadership workshop in Frederick County
Phyllis Newland of Laubach Literacy Action in Syracuse led a three day leadership workshop at Claggett Center with Frederick County volunteers and peers from Maryland Virginia West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The sessions covered organization administration team building and communications to prepare tutors for teaching listening speaking reading and writing to native English speakers and ESOL learners.
