St Patrick's supper marks Grace Reformed Church event
The Womens Guild of Grace Reformed Church held its annual St Patrick's covered dish supper on Tuesday evening in Taneytown. About 130 members attended as decorating by Mrs Robert Bankard and Miss Helen Bankard created a festive green and white room. Miss Margaret Shrieve led songs with Miss Blanche Stull at the piano, and Mrs Carol Frock welcomed guests. Guest speaker Mrs Sponseller urged closer ties between the Protestant church and public schools, noting how holidays are commercialized.
