County Area Recovers From Blizzard of 93
The Frederick County region ends the worst blizzard in memory with about 20 inches of snow, some spots 21 to 22 inches. Roads remain treacherous as slow warmup begins, schools and offices closed, Fort Detrick shut down, and rescue crews aided by 4x4s and snowmobiles.
