Frederick High art show displays student works
Nearly 250 students from Frederick High and West Frederick Junior High showcased art from ninth through twelfth grades in the Frederick High School gym on February 28. The exhibit featured pencil and ink drawings, water color, acrylics, wood cuts, linoleum, silk screen prints, sculpture, weaving, potter’s wheel demos, and an animated film by Richard Jefferies. Art teacher Anne Snyder oversees a program guiding students from basic ninth and tenth grade instruction to an independent, media diverse curriculum in eleventh and twelfth grades.
