Districting Fight Looms In Congress
Washington AP reports the House will tackle a broad bill to end gerrymandering and standardize district population within 15 percent variation. The measures align with Supreme Court rulings, while other major items include health care for the aged and federal aid to schools. The Judiciary Committee also begins hearings on a presidential disability constitutional amendment and vice presidential replacement rules.
