Four men sentenced to four years each in Arkansas jail break case
The four from Frederick County who escaped last month and were captured at Fort Smith on February 11 have been sentenced to four years apiece at the Arkansas State Penitentiary. John Wright Byrum Lawrence Riggles Richard Maxwell Himes and William Russell Tregoning each received four counts of burglary and one count of importing stolen property. They are transferred to Gould Penitentiary. Detainers will be sent to Captain Forbes at Gould.

Seoul reports Communist probing patrols struck both ends of the Allied battle line in Korea Friday night but U N forces repulsed them after sharp fighting.
